On The Colne

We had a lovely day in Leigh with G's parents and my Mum yesterday, but for some reason I didn't take any photos! My cold came out with a vengeance, and Mum spent another night away from home, but this time with her elderly neighbour so she'd be close for the electricians visit today. We're in a much better position this evening, with the electrician isolating the area of the problem, so she can at least safely live back in a section of her bungalow. He's ordered the parts and will be back to fit, re-circuit and check by Saturday. Unfortunately all the ongoing roof problems have resurfaced in all the rain, but the builder should be round to tackle that again tomorrow. Now there's been some sort of progress, I think Mum feels a bit more able to cope again.
