(seeing) RED!

Blipping from the iPad while sitting amid the chaos in the Apple store waiting for Yosemite to load on my laptop. My external drive with my 80,000 to 90,000 photos has decided not to work. LaCie has been good to work with and they will send me another ( it's still on warranty) but I needed to make sure I can access the backup on my other Lacie drive. Without boring us all, it can be done but I got talked into the new OS along the way. With Apple's aperture program not being supported next year I think I will have to break down and just get Lightroom. Anyone have opinions? Aperture and PSE has worked fine but why do they feel the need to keep changing stuff?
Just going to post this and be done for now. Photo taken on our walk this am-against a red house, overcast sky, no sun, a bit warmer ( over freezing...)
