Dirty tricks on the badminton court

Third in-service day in a row = working parents' challenge to get cover for three days in a row. Thank goodness for G'Ma n G'Da taking care of Tuesday while Dave attempted to work at home on Monday amid their squabbling over the TV. My turn on Wednesday for a day off with them and to take a rare opportunity for me to join in with kids and Granda on badminton court. An hour felt like 5 minutes as we went from practice shots to a game of daft doubles where G'Da delivered some covert coaching disguised as mucking around on court. Kids fell for it hook, line and sinker. So Dad shared his fancy court moves, Tess came on leaps and bounds, Sam landed some cracking shots and I got some much needed exercise. Job done.
