A Lovely Gift

Yesterday it was the funeral service of my much-loved sister-in-law. Sadly, she had suffered with dementia for the last couple of years of her life and didn't recognise me for most of that time. Nevertheless, it was a lovely time for family from near and far to gather together to remember happier times. We rejoiced in knowing that J is now perfect in mind and body and is dancing and worshipping at the feet of the Lord Jesus, our Saviour.

These flowers were an unexpected and touching gift from my brother for helping out with the catering. We have shed quite a few tears together this last week.
