The River is Low

It was very warm here in Blenheim this morning…until a cooling breeze started up just before lunch. I took Fergus walking along some tracks where we used to go with Gyspy as well. I think he is getting used to being the only dog in our family. He certainly loved coming across some of his familiar doggy friends today and enjoyed running around with a few of them.
The river is low at the “Second Stepping Stones”. In fact further downstream form here there is no surface water to be seen. But there is a spring near these stepping stones and although the water runs slowly it provides a place for a quick doggy dip and a drink on a hot day.
