We're in our Never Splender, Flowers, Showers...

Been a bit of a cultural exchange today.

Tooli went to Loughborough. It took her nearly all day to get there. HW Volleyball taking part in some University Tournament. They did this last year to Birmingham - they get a train, play a game and come home. Loughborough must be quite far away, because they got to stay over night, and then WON!! Yay!

Boy is travelling for thanksgiving with Gal. They are heading to Washington DC to try and get an audience with Obama. He doesn't know they are coming, but I'm sure when he hears the accents he'll be straight out on the Whitehouse lawn to get them in for Turkey. Although last time he was there, he got jumped (Boy that is, not President Obama) by the Homeland Security. He decided to take a walk through some nice parkland.... erm... not parkland; which he should have realised when he climbed the fence.

And me, well, we had a visitor from far, far away at work today. We contemplated what we could give her that wasn't alcoholic from Scotland, and I suggested Tablet. We know how nice Tablet is, so I bought her several bags. One for her to taste, and another six or so to blackmail and bribe her colleagues with on return.

And after we had handed them over, much to my surprise and delight I was then presented in return. This is part of my gift. The squares are Tea Blocks. I haven't ventured to try one yet, but they made me taste the thing on the right. Hmmm.

H. at work said, a mixture of caramel, with no caramel taste, with added sand.

I gave a bit to Himself. His face was as interesting as mine.

Himself says, there is a familiar taste about it.... I thought Peanut Butter, but not quite.

I have no idea what it is..I'm not even sure that it is edible. I may just have eaten a pot scourer. Any Clues?
