#vain

Have joined Instagram and it's full of selfies (read: full of itself). And now I've been drawn in. And if I feel nice and have had longer than 5 minutes to do my hair in the morning or am wearing something new, I take a picture of myself and upload it. For the rest of the month I feel rubbish so put pictures of Squidge up there or colourful, interesting things I've seen. This was today's picture. In my new comfy sweater with hair that was actually curled for once rather than blasted with heat while Peppa Pig blared in the background. Vain this Instagram lark innit?

Had a busy work today. As I'm off with Squidge tomorrow (long overdue day together which we both need very badly), I had lots to sort.

I worked from Bill's in Manchester and managed to meet my sister Lau for a hot chocolate which was rather wonderful. I had been missing her and it was great to see her in the flesh and have a speed catch up. She looks so blooming beautiful pregnant I must say and I am getting so excited about the next few months for her/us as a family. A catch up with two sisters in two days, amazing!!

Home to a tetchy tired Squidge again. Still not sure what's up. Chicken pox is going round nursery, she could just be tired or she could just be missing her Mummy as I haven't had any quality time with her lately. I'm inclined to think it's the latter.

I was out tonight at a Manchester fashion networking event and met some great people and heard a great talk. But she is always on my mind. Tomorrow can't come quick enough.
