Grey Thursday, Black Friday

A pretty dull, dismal and grey Thursday.

Went into town after work as it was late night shopping and "Black Friday" deals were being advertised at a number of stores. Didn't buy much other than food but came away with a few ideas for Christmas presents.

The Christmas illuminations were complemented by carol singers (and it's not even December).

These are members of the Hope Church of Huddersfield who were promoting their forthcoming Advent and Family Carol Services. My friend Stephen is playing the accordion.

I've now got "Ding Dong Merrily on High" on the brain!
