Gone in a Flash!

This sunset came and went so quickly! I had looked outside and thought the sky was too cloudy. Soon I noticed that it was getting pink so I grabbed my coat and camera. I drove about one mile out of town and by then the sky looked liked like this. I stopped along the road next to an apple orchard, set up my tripod and got a few shots before it quickly began to fade away. By the time I got back to town the color was completely gone.
While most people around here are shopping today I stayed home and worked and had a nice quiet evening athome.
