Christmas in November

This is my new saxophone. My grandparents bought this for me as an early Christmas present. This saxophone is pre-professional in quality and is the perfect fit for me. The music distributor was having major instrument sales this past month and cut instrument rates down over 65%. In the music world, these kinds of sales never happen! So of course I jumped on the opportunity. Despite the sale rate, this instrument was still a major investment. However, I believe it will be worth the money because I will use it all through college and continue to play in various community ensembles as an adult. Along with the saxophone, came a professional case, or as musicians call it, a “gig bag.” This gig bag is a major bonus because it has 2 zipper compartments for holding music folders and supplies. It also has 2 sets of reinforcements to ensure it stays closed and your instrument is protected. Another bonus of owning a gig bag is that it has a back pack strap, a case strap, and two handles for multiple ways to hold it; depending on what is most convenient at the moment. This saxophone will last me for many years to come and will help me tremendously when I am pursuing my Music Education degree in college.
