After yesterday's lazy morning, I found it hard to get up even though I'd first woken at 6am but as I was down to do the prayers at church I dragged myself out of bed at 9am but not before ordering a new telly for my bedroom online asyoudo!! (sorry Tussock)

This is a biggie for me. I've always said that a telly doesn't belong in a bedroom but with two lodgers I am finding that sometimes I want a bit more privacy and have decided to get one and see how I get on with it. It was an excellent price at JL I must say.

Since church, I haven't left the house all day except to help my brother bring a few pots in that he'd kindly collected from my stepmum's house as it's being sold tomorrow.

I continued some tidying, clearing, throwing stuff out and getting bits ready for the charity shop. When P arrived with the pots we had a coffee and watched a fieldfare, a thrush and a squirrel chasing around the garden. P admired the new decor and said that compared to his skills it was very impressive. Lucky me.

After he went, I put some rubbish telly on and finally wrote my Christmas cards and got on with the large ironing pile as I really must get uptodate before the family arrives on Friday. I also wrote a 'to do' list for this week and there's loads to do. Eek. However, I work best under pressure and everything needs to be sorted by Friday lunchtime so it'll get done!
