The Real Blue Lagoon

Last day of Iceland and it was a white out start to the day so the shoot at The Black Beach didn't happen, instead we took our time to travel over to The Blue Lagoon and enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural waters full of salts.

Actually, the natural waters aren't that natural, they are actually the waste products from the geo-thermal plant just along the road from the lagoon and people found that if they bathed in them they were actually good for the skin. It was a strange sensation being in freezing temperatures wearing a pair of trunks, sipping beer in the hot waters.
