Winter Berries

I noticed these lovely orangey/red berries contrasting with the brilliant frosty blue sky this morning. Unfortunately as the temperature rose so the cloud rolled in and when I came back from my brothers a little while ago it was 8 degrees and starting to rain and getting windy.
I felt upset walking into his home this afternoon with no Penny to welcome me, like only Penny did. She used to lay across my feet whilst we (the humans) used to enjoy a cup of tea, slice of cake and a good chat. It is good that I have many, many happy memories of her to look back on.
