Evening in the park

This evening we went to the community dinner at our church to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and feast on corned beef, cabbage, tasty potatoes and carrots with cake for dessert. Yum! On the way home we stopped for a little wander around the park. It was sunset by that time, but I managed to blip a few pictures, and I think they make a fairly good collage.

On our way back to the parking lot, Bob spotted several deer nibbling on the grass. They were a fair distance from the trail, but Bob recognized Rascaletta and called to her. She headed in his direction, stopped, then continued walking toward him. He kept talking to her until she finally stopped in front of him, and that's when I snapped this picture. It isn't the greatest picture because of the lack of light, but I felt a sense of wonder that she had come so close, almost as if she wanted to say hello.

That's it for today from the north coast of Ohio. Goodnight Blipfriends! I'm off to bed. It's time for some sleep.
