Is it wrong to scone in San Francisco?!

We had afternoon tea in a wonderful place in Ghirardelli Square called Crown and Crumpet. Such a beautiful tearoom, all decked out in Cath Kidston. I think I may have found my spiritual home...
It was amazing, possibly (gasp!) even better than Loopy Lorna's. Had a lovely chat with the owner afterwards and she was awfully nice despite initially thinking that we were Australian. Hmmm...
And why do Americans feel the need to speak to you in a cockney accent once they find out you are Scottish? Its most odd. lol

Oh but its lovely here. We spent much of the day down at the water taking endless photographs of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. It was a gorgeous day, not as hot as LA (thankfully, my nose is still like a beacon - I could bring ships in!) but sunny and clear, perfect wandering weather.

We heart San Francisco!
