We're in New Orleans!

After 3 separate flights and a very long day that started at 4.30 this morning (well for Mags it did, she managed to eventually get me up at about 10 to 5 with lots of lights flashing and TV blaring after my alarm went off 3 times with no effect whatsoever) we arrived safely and even had our luggage!

We got to our hotel completely knackered but managed to go out and have a wee walk down Bourbon St (our hotel is pretty close by but not close enough to be annoying which is great) and a frozen 'Tropical Itch' which packed quite a punch and put us right in the mood :O)
Despite what everyone (seriously, everyone we've told we are coming here!) warned us about we managed not to get mugged once.

Tomorrow we plan a chilled out day in The Big Easy, get up late, have a long lunch and wander about with no agenda. Perfect!
