Sitting Here Waiting
Back to school. Dreary day. At least there is only 60ish more of these days before graduation. But theres only 30ish more days til my AP tests. To be quite honest with you the thought of having to take my AP bio test in a month makes me sick. The thought of my impending AP Gov test makes me queasy. And the thought of the upcoming AP Photo exam makes me very uneasy. Oh lordy.
To add to my list of complaints:
-The weather is putting me on edge. I'm afraid to trust it. Because although I'm enjoying the warmth I expect it to change back to winter any second and then I'll be heartbroken. So therfore I will remain suspicious of it. Although it does make track practice much more enjoyable (But so does the lacross team playing my favorite song three times over the speakers during their practice). All I do is win.
-*BEGIN RANT HERE* I'm currently reading 'The Woman Destroyed' by Simone De Beauvoir. I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong but it is making me VERY VERYYYYY angry. (to the point where anthony has banned me from talking about it i think). This woman is just asking to have amiserable life. Her husband is cheating on her, admits it, and yet she LETS him continue with the affair. This bothers me so incredibly much. I don't think a book has ever evoked so much anger in me. This just bothers me to no extent: "It is perfectly natural for a man to have an affair after twenty-two years of marriage. It is I who would be unnatural-childish, really- if I were not to accept this". IS SHE KIDDING. No that is not okay. No it wouldnt be childish of her it would me LOGICAL. SIHGIGIUSGH this is making me so mad and yet I really want to finish. *END RANT HERE*
And i just started Dante's The Inferno. Loveeee.
Oh my my my...
OH! And HAPPY NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY Danielle!!! =]
Quote
"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
-The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I may have used this quote in the past but benjamin button is one of my favorite movies so here it possibly is again!
