Got to keep my head held high

"Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb"

There are times when some songs are stuck in your head and keeps playing over and over again. This song from "The Climb" was in the space as soon as heard it. Today I replaced the laptop with the camera. Started early for 'the climb' to office. And, every stroke I made on the pedals, the song was playing in my head. And. the swiftness of the cycle was powered with an invisible hand or was that my illusion. Either ways the climb was, to say the least - was not a climb at all. How much can a belief change the perspective. Completely transforming the climb as something which is as easy as sneezing. So when the next climb comes we just need to do it.

Today I was smiling all the way to office, thinking WOW how I have missed cycling for such a longtime. Smiling not like a moron, but a constant grin. I guess it was coming from somewhere deep down inside. Adda has been helpful in telling me some tips for shallow dof, so tried them once I got home. This photo has nothing to do with that however. The results are good but not worth putting up here.

Another thing I observed today was about how we are designed/programmed to catch the mistakes/bad things in something. If someone does 1 out of 10 things wrong we are quick to point out the mistake. I am not sure if this is because of the education system or hard coded in our brains. We must, appreciate and honor that there has been 90% accuracy in what the chap did.

While returning the weather was becoming good, the breeze was cool and the sun was setting leaving behind a golden surreal affect on the whole scene. Thought will stop and take some pictures, but did not want to stop. Just wanted to keep going. The thrill of being able to go stealth while other cars and bikes are going into each other is a different high. And. I have realized that on a cycle you will always be amusing to the people who are keen to observe. I am taking it as a vocational perk.

"I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin,
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high"
