Rescue

On holiday, main brief to let the kids do what they want, feed them and know where they are.

Walked eco daughter up the road to her holiday activity with Juno. What a cracking day so decided to walk over Blackford Hill and enjoy the day.

At the pond, the spawn was floating everywhere, frog spawn. The toads were active today, many joined couples swimming around the shallows. I spent a while rescuing the toads on the wrong side of the wall, lifting them over into the pond side.

Took Juno futher than expected as it was a lovely day, got her in the burn for a cool down and play.

Watched the courting buzzards, soaring overhead.

Back home to chores, rescued a bumble bee stuck in the house.

Eco son has finished building his next bike, I think he is keeping this one. I am sure this is more show than practical, but hey I am just a dad.
