A lovely gift

This is a painting by our friend Dan. I have mentioned him before - quite a while ago! - we have another piece of his work on display in our house. This was done for us as a wedding gift. It is in our hallway so I see it frequently everyday - I love it for it's colour and texture - it makes me smile. Dan has a particular style to his work that I really admire and that I cannot emulate in my own painting. He's very talented.

Backblipped last night ...Things that you can't beat - it is a celebration of positives and a rant about idiots!

Short and sweet - have been working all night and still have stuff to do. The construction of the wedding photo album will have to wait until tomorrow night now.
