Pygmy Falcon (Polihierax semitorquatus)
I saw him on a lightning conductor once again this afternoon, but fortunately, he flew into a tree in our estate. I was só excited, although it was still too far for a good shot, but I moved closer and closer, and just before I was in the perfect position, he saw me and flew back to the conductr!!
Eisch, I was fortunate enough to get a shot just as he spread his wings to take off, and thought it was quite nice against the background of pink clouds, reflecting the last rays of the setting sun! This picture is not edited in any way, only a wee bit of a crop, no colour changes at all!
Sorry for blipping só late today, but I was on the phone with my dear aunt Henna who turns 79 today! We chatted for almost an hour!! They are as well as a 79 and 81 year old can be!! Still fit, doing all their homework, hobbies and gardening themselves! I love them to bits!!
