King Arthur Was Never Here

This reminds of the Arthurian legends about Excalibur and the sword in the stone. I think some of the locals would be happy to see it pulled out of the concrete and cast into the lake.

The large red building with a clock tower is the old town hall -- now one of the three Whatcom Museum buildings.
