The most expensive pot in the shop!

There is a little patch on one of the walls in our sitting room which needs patching up.

Mrs DD had the idea of doing this, using the paint left over from the original job.

However. As the original job was done some years ago now, the paint had gone 'off'.

So we went today to replace the paint. Most other pots were around the £10-£12 mark.

Not this one. Because it is a 'Period' colour, whatever that is (surely if its old it should be cheaper) it was nearly £25!!!! And what 'Dead Flat' paint is I have no idea. The opposite to curvy paint? Or buxom paint?

Or should we have just used the 'lumpy' old paint we threw away cos we thought it was 'off'!

What with that and the price of car parking these days.............................
