Baby Rice!

Well, today was the big day. I'd initially wanted to hold out till 6 months till I started weaning Ethan and had considered doing baby led weaning. However, we decided to start him on baby rice today instead. I've read up a lot on it and really do think he's ready. I feel quite sad about it in a way as it means he really is no longer my wee newborn, but I guess I can't keep him that way forever!

He had a minor tantrum when we first tried it. After he calmed down, we tried once more and he ate some. Even if he did seem rather bemused by it and most of it ended up round his face! I think my days are about to get much messier!
