An Corran Beach
The weather forecast today was for rain, but actually it was mainly a nice day. We re-traced our journey from Monday up to Trotternish to show Gran, Papa, Auntie Katie and Uncle Scott the stunning scenery up there, but this time we went to An Corran beach and walked from there to Staffin. My Mum is a geologist, so she was keen to look for the dinosaur footprints on the foreshore, but we were at the wrong bit of the beach and she didn't find any. That's probably where I get my love of stones from (or maybe it's from Makka Pakka).
I fell asleep in the bushbaby but woke up when we reached the top of the cliffs because it was windy. Papa asked Mum for a geology lesson, but I objected! Instead we carried on walking into Staffin and went for refreshments in a cafe there. I am getting very good at telling people what I want, and I told Mum that a wanted an orange (Mum, unt ornge). I would rather have oranges than pretty much anything else, even Twixes!
Yesterday, we visited a nice shop called Skye Silver. Auntie Katie went back there today and bought jewellery to wear on her wedding day. It is very pretty. Papa went too and bought a necklace for Gran. He gave it to her tonight, as it is their wedding anniversary on Monday.
