Cleaning
The day begins slow. Even after eight hours of sleep, it isn't easy to open the eyelids. The nose is blocked and the head throbs. I continue the book I had begun and though the narrative is beautifully atmospheric and draws me me, the thoughts often wander off towards the heap of pending work. And I begin. It wouldn't have been a good idea to go to office today. But much gets completed before the day begins. Right upto lunch, there's hardly any time to catch a breather.
The next couple of days are likely to leave me with no time for anything else. For a brief moment, my trip seemed so close, so real but now it seems far away, even though there are just two days in between.
