Monet San!

The Japanese Garden in Kildare is celebrating its centenary this year. Today was my first visit but I will definitely be back. Up until this morning, I wasn't aware it existed! It is on the site of the National Stud which is very close to The Curragh.
There are a number of rare Japanese plants and trees and the garden can transport you to a different world.
Should you ever plan to visit, apart from the historic garden, there are lots of birds and a decent cafe also.
