Friday flowers

I was glad to see Friday finally arrive, and spent the day largely in preparation for a quick trip to the house in Italy. It is funny how some days I just never stop moving, going from one little task to the next minor essential, crossing things off the ever-pesent and never-ending 'To Do List'. Today at least, I managed to get the Urgent-And-Important tasks ticked off and collect Claire from school on time, ready for the road with cat in tow. Towanda doesn't much care for the car anymore, but even she was glad to get to the house before dark.

These dainty little white flowers are, I believe, a weed of some variety, growing where they shouldn't grow next to the dandelions and the thistle at the edge of our drive. The resident ants seem to be making themselves at home; both the flowers and the ants are welcome to stay, as long as they stay where they are!
