One good turn!

Today was a very odd one!
My pal who came down from the island decided to go mad buying trade stuff for her shop, being helpful, we took all the sweets etc she bought home from Glasgow to Argyll in our car while she then proceeded to raid Ikea, Primark, M&S and God knows what all else.
She duly arrived at our home in ARgyll last night and I almost died when I saw the load!
This morning we began to load her car (bearing in mind we still had to collect a rescue dog she had acquired) my hubby who is an expert at car loading with years of experience, was finally defeated after an hour of trying.
Yesterday to make things easier to transport we packed all the sweets into three huge suitcases that took three of us to lift. When the Glasgow neighbour who was giving my daughter an I a hand to lift one of the cases asked me what it had I jokingly said body parts! She just glowered at me, no sense of humour some folk!

Anyhows after admitting defeat at loading the car there was only one alternative!
I voulenteered to split the load with my own car and drive home to the island. When we went to book the ferry I was told 7th on stand by and I thought if I get marooned in Skye I will be tempted to eat all those hundreds of sweets she had

However I got on the ferry and both cars, my pal, her daughter and new dog are ensconsed on the sofa watching tv as I write. I will off load the stuff into her shop tomorrow and make my way home on Wed via Oban

As I said ...one good turn!!!!

Yesterday we thought we had discovered where Houdini rabbit was escaping from in the garden and blocked his escape route, put him back and watched as her sereched the permitier like someone out of Colditz or the Great Escape. Let him out today and a couple of hours later.....yes he escaped to the other side of the garden , this is the bugger who already spent two days locked in the coal bunker!
We are totally flumoxed! Noew setting booby traps, and digging a pit with cctv!
Watch this space

Picture is of some sort of sculpture thing my pal has on her wall with the setting sun bouncing off it through the window opposite.

After all that I think I need a stiff dram!!

Go
Oidche Mhath all blippers
