The Garden
As requested by Jayne, here is a shot of the garden - before I do anything to it. It will be a while before I can do much out here, but I'm looking forward to my sister, Jan, coming to visit next month because she's very good with garden ideas. However, it's a nice secluded garden, and just about the right size to be a pleasure to look after, not a chore.
There's also a bit of front garden - grass, flower beds and path, which also needs some tlc. The neighbours have been a bit cheeky though. I notice that before I moved in they planted a row of box bushes in between our plots, but they have planted them on my side of the boundary (which is marked by a line of concrete edging). I believe that the camelia that is also on my side of this boundary is also theirs - it was given to them by their other neighbours as a wedding present. They are on holiday at the moment, but I guess I'll have to make some comment when they get back, just so they know that they are encroaching on my garden. I don't much mind the box plants being there - as long as they are going to keep them clipped!
I think it might be these neighbours who have also been putting rubbish in my bin. I shall have to keep an eye on them...
