Checkers

We have so enjoyed having our granddaughter A stay with us the first few days of her summer vacation...we take her home tomorrow...a day before she turns 7! We've had a pretty rainy day so have kept occupied inside with LOTS of fun things, Barbies, writing and illustrating a book, watching Peter Pan and making popcorn, playing keyboard with Granddad, playing a table-top hockey game and now learning how to play checkers...quite a wonderful, fun-filled day! Uni, of course, has been there for all of our activities! I'm sure we all will sleep well!
