Gordon and the girls :-)

back in northumberland again for a few days, but this time we start with a rare saturday off and a trip to a nursery to spend other people's money (we bought so much that the usual discount my dad gets paid for my basketful of stuff...).

then finally we've an hour free to wander along the village to see Gordon and his girls - he took a fancy for hens a few months back, promptly bought some and installed them in a house and a run on the lawn! i've had some eggs but this is my first meeting with the ladies - who as you can see are far more interested in the greens we took along than in saying hello and having their photo taken :-)

had an envious look in G's greenhouse too - he has strawbs ready! bah!
