The universal sport that is tig (tag)

Not a great day, to be honest, but it got better progressively. Work was fair enough let's say 6, kind of generous, nice coffee in the sun with the remainder of child #1's Father's Day gift.

Yesterday I finished cleaning in preparation for the arrival of our friends from India pretty late, so today I felt pretty lousy as number 1 son decided that he wanted to play hit Dad at 4am.

Picked up the friends from the centre of Edinburgh, girls very excited to meet them, then they went all shy, child #2 has been practising her dance accompanying Lagaan all week. I actually don't think they will believe their eyes.

Went up the hill, very still, saw some rabbits, came home and we ate in the garden.

This photo, showing Jatin, Shazana and child #1, was actually taken with one of the visitor's cameras. Jatin chasing the others towards den, it gives a fair idea of the action when the visiting Indian tig champions took on the locals. It however does not give any indication of the level of cheating and mean spirited play that was displayed by both sides. I understand they resume tomorrow, the marathon tig tournament.
