Motel 6

We've been naughty. We were supposed to camp today but neither of us were feeling too hot. Both a little under the weather. It would be classed as man flu but Emma was feeling the symptoms too.

So we checked into the cheapest motel we could find. For £40 Motel 6 in Wheatland was clean, comfortable, had a tv, wifi and a good hot shower. Wheatland is an interesting place. Tiny with absolutely nothing going on. Clearly a place people stop at for the night. It was friendly enough, probably the best service I've ever had at a Safeway. In the UK they grunt at the checkout, in Wheatland the guy seemed genuinely interested in our road trip.

A good 10 hour sleep was had. That's about 9 hours more than if we had been camping. And it worked, the sniffles are gone.
