Levee Stroll

Today we went and watched my nephew Lenny compete in an All-Stars game. The team played one of the best teams and didn't score a win today. This was their second loss, so they are now out of the tournament...but they went SO far! We are proud of all of them!

In the evening we went to Don & Marie's for the Annual 4th of July Levee Stroll. Well, this year it was on the 3rd, but still celebrating our nation's birth! We loved hanging out with friends and enjoying the beautiful sunset. The kids and parents strolled from house to house playing on the bounce houses and listening to bands. We watched all the children in the bike parade with their cute red-white-blue decorated bikes, trikes and wagons. There was also a small fireworks display over the Delta and I took a million pictures of them! I particularly liked this one in my blip. Upon leaving, there were about 10 cop cars and the bomb-squad...so I think it was the perfect time to leave :D (I'm suspecting there were a few fireworks that weren't quite legal). Thank you Don & Marie for another great 4th of July celebration!
