Bursting

The rain fell down today, heavily. I was lucky to be inside, painting at my desk. I looked out and saw my neighbour's gutter looking pretty full, as the water streamed down his roof. I got the digital zoom into action to try to catch some of the wetness of it all.
It sounded and smelled wonderful.

I was going to blip the pile of 18th century political cartoons I have waiting to be coloured But the water was such a novelty I thought this would be more topical.
