Twinkle Twinkle
I woke up to blue skies and sunshine this morning, without the scorching heat we had last week. I did some pilates, took the little one for a nice 2 mile walk, then out for errands with hubby and took the baby girl to the vet for her follow-up appointment from her bladder infection.
A few days ago, hubby noticed a lump near her armpit (although they aren't arms, are they?) and we figured we would ask about it today. While waiting for the Dr., we checked her teeth out (it's just something we do with the dogs pretty regularly) and noticed one of her molars were broken. Great. We'll ask about that as well.
Side note: she likes to find little pebbles and chews on them. I don't know where she gets them, but we always take them from her when we find her doing it.
Long story short: we're awaiting the results of her urinalysis to make sure the bladder infection is gone and there are no signs of stones left. We're also awaiting the test results from the lump to make sure it's not cancerous - the Vet is pretty sure it's not, but she wants to make sure. And we've an appointment to have her tooth extracted next week - and possibly have the lump removed depending on the test results.
My poor sweet baby girl. She is truly the happiest, sweetest creature on earth. I just hope she still loves going to the vet after next week. She's never had any type of surgery before, and I'm a bit worried for her, but I will be until the test results come back.
Needless to say, I didn't have much time to take photos today. So I tried long exposure for light trails from the stars, which I tried out last week, but didn't set up a good angle and the slight overcast didn't really help. I'm happier with tonight's results, although I am surprised at the variety of colors. I'm sure it's more than stars, what with all the space junk orbiting around up there ;)
