Overdosed on cheese puffs and sausage rolls at our friend's grandson's 2nd birthday party this afternoon leading to lots of hyperactivity, food fights and tears. And the kids weren't much better either.

It was actually the cousin of this wee stunner's birthday but it was proving much more difficult to get a picture of them without making them cry. This young lady is just such a natural in front of the camera and she was more than happy to pose for photos.

Having made most of the kids greet at some point (pretending to eat the candles off the cake kind of freaked some of them out a bit, and me standing on a bench outdoors to take a photo caused the birthday boy a bit of mild panic) I'm not sure if I'll be invited back for the next one...

Good fun, even though it did feel like autumn instead of the middle of summer.
