The Swagger Wagon

We left Calvin Crest today and headed back home. Our friends, Ken & Ann, suggested we all go to 'Happy Burger' on the way home. It has a HUGE menu of randomness and they stop there each time they return home from the Yosemite area. We were entertained while waiting for our food by just reading the walls covered with old record covers. The food was really delicious and definitely worth the stop. We had Loren's pal, Jesse, with us as well and he loved his chocolate shake.

We came home and collapsed. I hadn't slept all night the night before and it was the first time that I can remember the ENTIRE family taking a nap. We made a deal with the kids that we would take them to their first drive-in movie in Sacramento if they took a nap. There was no arguing or no sneaking out of their bedrooms. I guess they really were exhausted. So we headed out with candy and snacks in tow to the drive-in to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Toy Story 3. They liked both movies very much, and amazingly enough, stayed awake until 1:30 in the morning watching both. (I'll have to admit I was the one who dozed off a couple times during that second movie). We got home around 2:15 am. Night blipland!
