Paradise

We had no students today; they were all with their billets. We got up at 5.15 am and went to catch the Betico ferry to l'Ile des Pins (Island of Pines). The crossing was calm but when we got there, it was raining a little and there were some horrible grey clouds hovering. With a few prayers, they went away and the sun came out. I was glad because I didn't have many clothes with me and was getting cold.

We took lots of photos today, but this is my pick as it?s the archetypal paradise island shot.

We got back around 8pm and watched Miss Nouvelle-Caledonie on TV.

Who knows what tomorrow holds? 4 more days and I'll be home.
