Today's the day ................ to choose new glasses

Went with Will to help him choose new frames at the opticians. That's the trouble when you are short-sighted - they try you out with new frames but because you need your glasses to see what you look like - it all goes pair-shaped!

Trouble was, I was too busy seeing possible blips everywhere I looked, that I wasn't much help to him .......
