Giants

Do behold the King Sequoia! Behold! Behold! seems all I can say.
Some time ago I left all for Sequoia and have been and am at his feet, fasting and praying for light, for is he not the greatest light in the woods, in the world?
Where are such columns of sunshine, tangible, accessible, terrestrialised?

Quick blip today (again) as Pesky Princess is in hospital for overnight observation following a fall and bump to head and tummy. Mrs P is staying with her overnight so hopefully everything is ok and she gets out in the morning. Better safe than sorry.

Anyway, i live next to a wood of Giant Redwoods, sent back to Perthshire in 1853 from California. On way back home from hospital i decided to walk through them with #1 son and camera as its a very pleasant and peaceful walk.

Probably not the greatest picture of them, but I'm sure I'll take more over time, especially in winter when first snow falls!
