The light of...

My church has the most beautiful stained glass window. It was put in when I was a child and caused some controversy at the time because many thought it was too modern and too colourful. I loved it though, it cast the most beautiful coloured light into a previously dark corner of the church which to me was perfect.

I dont go to the church often now, but this week Ive visited twise.

Today I went with the intention of photographing the beautiful coloured window, which I did.

In the end however, I preferred the simplicity and the pure light cast in this photo.

Perhaps I will return and capture the coloured light again another day...
