All the leaves are brown, and the sky is..........

strangely enough blue!

Alrigh,t I know it's not exactly all the leaves, but this little bugger fell in our garden about 8.10 this morning. The first sign of Autumn?

Today's papers all said that we'd had our Summer, so did the weather on the t.v., and proclaimed that all we could look forward to were grey skies and lots of rain umtil October. So what happened at lunch time? The Sun came out, and it's been blazing down all day ,not a cloud in the sky, 21 degreesC!

Weather reports, eh? Why do we ever believe them? (As I type there's an ad on the t.v. celebrating our "doo-lally" weather for making great butter)

We're going out for the day tomorrow to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, the forecast says sunny intervals, what's the betting it persists down?!
