Shot this in one of the many shops we visited today. This star is happier than I felt when I shot it I'm sure!

So yes today was the "let's go shopping and pick up every present we can in one sitting" trip. And we pretty much did, so it achieved something! We also found quite an interesting historical museum (I know, groan, like a bad school trip, but it really wasn't that boring). Dad got caught up in an old record from a Victorian era school - how many canings today, etc! There were lots of historical buildings in the town too; the place we ate lunch in was over 400 years old (The Woolpack Inn, highly recommend it)! We found a very nice tea room too (how British!), called The Lemon Tree. Great ice cream.
