Watching the world

Katie loves watching people, the world, everything, taking it all in. She loves to be involved and included, even at this little age. One of her favourite things to do is sit in her bouncer and watch out the window of the smallest bedroom. People said to me 'oh you can't read personality from things they do at this age'.... but this is something nearly 10 months on, Katie still does - watches out a window, fascinated by all she sees.

Today we were visited by some very dear friends of mine, Skel and Becky. I went to school with them both and was very excited that they wanted to meet her. Becky sat there and kept saying 'wow, she's like a real baby, she's actually here'. And then said 'are her eyes meant to do that', as Katie squinted a bit!
