Abandoned by my husband in favour of a box of wine up a mountain with his mate Tom, I had a very quiet weekend.

It's strange how life can be so rushed and full of faces and 'to do' lists and places to be and time tick-tick-ticking and then all of a sudden, without realising it's about to descend on you, you end up with a weekend with no real plans and everything.

It can be quite un-nerving. Fortunately, I didn't let it get to me too much and succeeded in watching 4 films and eating at least 1 really delicious take away.
