Pizza Express
Today's the day ................... to catch up with Will
Husband Will has been working down in London for the last couple of days. When he's there, he always tries to go to the Pizza Express in Dean Street, Soho, because he loves jazz - and most nights they have live performances by a variety of jazz artists.
He has been going for a long time now, and they know him quite well there. He always tries to book a little table at the front because he likes to make watercolour sketches of the musicians while they are performing. This is one that he did last night of a tenor saxophonist called Jure Pukl .......
Of course, sometimes the jazz musicians notice him painting away, but they don't seem to mind. In fact they are usually very curious to see the end results and usually ask him to email them a copy. In fact last night the drummer, Klemens Marktl, liked Will's painting of him so much that he wanted to buy it there and then!
In the end he settled for the promise of a digital copy - but gave Will one of his CDs in return ............
