Under the weather but still smiling

Today Ethan caught his first cold. Mid morning he had a bit of a runny nose. By early afternoon it was streaming and he was sneezing loads. Poor mite.

We still went round to visit a mummy friend as planned though (I did warn her about his cold but she replied that she was desperate for adult company so for us still to go)! She only lives a few streets away so we had a nice walk in the sunshine to her house and then spent 2 hours playing in her back garden with her and her 11 month old son.

On the way back to our house, Ethan & I stopped at our local playpark. We walk past it all the time but have never actually been in it together before. He was enjoying his time on the swings when a 7 year old girl came up and asked if she could push him. I let her, on the condition she push gently. She was doing fine, but then fell out of favour with me by asking if I have any grandchildren! Lol!

Ethan is clearly knackered and out of sorts this evening so hubbie bathed him an hour early and then took him upstairs to our bedroom to chill out and watch tv. Within 10 minutes Ethan was sound aleep. He carried on sleeping when we put his dreampod on him and when hubbie moved him through to his bedroom. He didn't even have his milk feed so I'm fully expecting a rude awakening for it later on!
