So - loooooong day. Drove to Birmingham for a meeting and then back again. Lots of traffic queues as one might imagine but also some joyously clear stretches where I could open it up and cruise at 69 MPH with the music on loud. Jim Steinman, U2 and Ian Drury were some of the high spots as I flew up the M40 (at 69 MPH). Coming back was far slower but at least I found my way out of Birmingham - last time I got hopelessly lost despite the attentions of Mr Garmin the Satnav.

And when I got home this happy little chap was already lit and ready to welcome me along the path to the kitchen door - regular readers will remember that I don't use the front door very often.
